DART MECHANICAL STRESS GRADER INTERFACING

Tadpole provides basic interfacing software for the Dart which runs on the main Tadpole PC or on a separate buffer PC. Note that the Dart must be capable of sending out all the individual local-E data points at normal operating speed for this system to work successfully. This requirement sometimes requires a modification to the Dart PLC software to enable it to send points out the serial port during grading rather than just at the end of grading individual sticks. This is due to a speed limitation with the data transmission.
