AUDITING WITH THE TADPOLE MSG CONTINUOUS MONITORING SYSTEM

The data within the Tadpole system is held in a database which is common across all installations.

Having common data across all the important areas assists in both internal and external auditing processes and makes efficient and effective audits possible. With the aid of either a local or remote connection, or simply a file transfer, an auditor can easily run periodic analyses and audit reports.

Audit reports can be quickly developed by the auditor and routinely run to extract much more information than can be obtained from a simple inspection of records. For example, reports on E statistics produced by individual static test operators can be generated in seconds as an aid in checking for operator bias in the sampling process.

Tadpole also has a 'Run Conformance' summary built into the database. As each run is completed a summary of the results for all the analyses used by the operators to check for compliance is harvested and saved to the database. This allows a single compliance summary report to be run as a full but easily interpreted record of all the runs for a particular time period. Management then has a single summary to show the state of product for all runs produced. An example of this report is shown below. For the convenience of external auditors with access to the database, the conformance summary for any number of runs can be generated automatically at any time within the Tadpole software.
