About Us

Northern Territory

In 1993 I joined a group of people on a bus tour of some of the main attractions of the Northern Territory in Australia. We drove express from Brisbane to Mount Isa, then to Devils Marbles and then north to Mataranka, the Kakadu National Park and Darwin. On the way to Litchfield National Park we visited the Territory Wildlife Park. After Litchfield NP we drove to Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National Park then south and then east along the Carpentaria Highway to Cape Crawford. From here a 15 minute helicopter flight took us to the Lost City in the Abner Range. Near Borroloola we visited the Bukalara Rock formations which are similar to those in the Lost City. We then followed the Tablelands and Barkly Highways to Mount Isa and then back to Brisbane. It was a good trip but it was a pity Dot did not come.
