In March 2001 Dot and I did some walking in Tasmania. We participated in a six day guided walk of The Overland Track and subsequently walked in the National Parks of Freycinet, Maria Island, Mt Field and Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair. We also took a cruise on the Gordon River, rode on a restored rack and pinion railway (the only one in Australia) and visited a number of historic places like Port Arthur and Strahan.
