  • Agreements – writers, production, actors, crew, location and music.
  • Pre-Production – planning checklist, budgets, schedule, resource breakdowns.
  • Production – shot list, shooting schedule, continuity, call sheets.

  • Marketing – publicity kit.

To download, right mouse click on Production Management Kit and select "save target as" to download the zip file containing MS Word and Excel files.

Writing / Screenplays

VGA has written a feature screenplay called Worldway. It's about a future scenario where a large multi-level marketing company has taken over the world and everybody is in the network except for some. The screenplay is quite old now having originally been written in 1998 and needs updating. For example, the world didn't go beserk after Y2K yet the future of flash memory devices for music was predicted!

Anyhow, it can be downloaded by clicking here - Worldway Screenplay, Worldway Titlepage.

Maintenance Management

VGA has produced some documents for maintainability analysis and maintenance support as follows:

  • Maintainability Analysis. This is an Excel spreadsheet used to calculate overall system Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) for a system comprising of a number of equipment or components.
  • Maintenance Support Plan. This is a Word based document providing a generic plan for the maintenance support of a system, equipment or facility. The plan is not based on any one particular standard but can be tailored appropriately to suit. It covers most of the issues required for a maintenance support system.

Current Listening

VGA must getting too old now because he's listening to a lot of chill-out, lounge type music these days to unwind and relax.

Anyhow, you can check out what what I'm currently listening to and watching on my blog, by clicking HERE.

Favourite Music

Check out the links below to some of VGA's long time favourite bands and musicians.

Big Star Big Star are a cult-classic power-pop rock band of the early seventies. They only ever recorded three albums which inspired a whole generation of musicians. You haven't heard music until you've listened to Big Star. The link takes you to Big Star Reference page. Also check out Big Star on Wikipedia.

The Church One of VGA's favourite Australian bands. VGA has been following them for over 25 years now! They've got to be one of Australia's longest living groups. The link goes to their official website. Also check out The Church on Wikipedia.

Died Pretty This is VGA's other favourite Australian band. Perhaps one of the world's (and certaintly Australia's) most undiscovered rock band. Sadly, they broke up in 2002 but the DP's songs will live forever. The link goes to their official website. Also check out Died Pretty on Wikipedia.

Teenage Fanclub Hailing from Scotland, the "Fannies" as they are affectionately known have been churning out alternative rock melodic guitar sound since 1989. Also check out Teenage Fanclub on Wikipedia.

Guided By Voices GBV are an American lo-fi / indie-rock band from Dayton Ohio. They've broken up now but their songs are magic. Also check out Guided By Voices on Wikipedia.

Ride They may have been considered "shoegazers" but their album 'Nowhere' is one of the greatest albums of the nineties.  Also check out Ride on Wikipedia.

Other Pink Floyd. Have always been a fan.
Jonathon Richman. He's quirky but good.
Nick Drake. A pity he died so young.
The Pixies. One of the all time seminal American alternative rock bands.
Pavement. Another great lo-fi US band.
Beck. He's cool.
The Saints. The original Australian punk rock band.
Buzzcocks. Much better than the Pistols.
The Celibate Rifles. What more can I say but they rock.
Wire. Yes, you've probably never heard of them.
Sonic Youth. My favourite band in the nineties.
Ryan Adams. This is Ryan not Brian!
Gram Parsons. The guy that started alt.country.rock.
Wilco, Son Volt.
