SO why an MP3 page ? When everyone else has one. Maily so I can find my MP3 links when I need them.

We have a whole lot of old records and music that I am transferring to CD-ROM and storing using the MP3 format. It conserves space and allows us to have music at the desktop via the PC.

We recently added a 28G HDD to our server specifically for MP3 music storage on-line. The family all use it and have playlists.

I still cannot make up my mind between WinAmp and MusicMatch Jukebox. WinAmp is quick and easy, MMJB is a little more complex, but provides really excellent control over selections and the 'music library', but.... it crashes all too often, has graphics problems, and sometimes overwhelms with featuritis. I still cannot make it work with the Logitech Camera 'cos the two products each have their own mixer.dll type program and they clash causing gpf failures if I run them together. Neither product manufacturer has a solution and that's a pain.

12th December 2000: Yes, its been a while since I updated anything here and there's a good reason for it.

I have a new site and server with full scripting and database facilities. This will give me more opportunity to update stuff without needing to write .html pages in large volumes. This static site will be gradually moved across to the new location.
