Blyton Signature LogoSecret Seven

The Secret Seven books were among my favourites as a kid and having collected a complete set with dust jackets, I am now looking for first editions. The dust jackets are accurate for the titles and in most cases I am sure that the jacket matches the books. However having viewed the dust jackets at An Unofficial Enid Blyton Site I wonder if some of my middle period jackets have been swapped from later editions, as there are some inconsistencies. These are the hardbound covers underneath the dust jackets. This is the latest of them from the late sixties. This is the most common one that I have and it seems to date from the late fifties through until the stylised 'S' was introduced.. This is the earliest one that I have and I suspect was the standard from the start until the late fifties. This inner binding is consistently used throughout. I imagine that these sketches would have come from George Brook who illustrated the first stories.
