This lovely spice is a storehouse of energy and a tonic and stimulant for the nervous and digestive systems. The seeds themselves can be chewed to sweeten the breath, used as an aperitif, or a settler for the stomach. The oil is anti-infectious, mildly analgesic, gently warming and revitalising. Coriander is useful in cold conditions, to ease neuralgia and rheumatic pains, fatigue, general debility and loss of appetite. Its stimulating fragrance can freshen the intellect.
