About Me

David Harris was born in Gosford NSW, 24th February 1966. He is currently Principal of Kariong Public School on the NSW Central Coast. David has worked as a Principal for 14 years. His previous schools have included; Griffith PS, Merriwagga PS (Principal), Hillston CS (Assistant Principal), Dooralong PS (Principal), Northlakes PS (Deputy Principal) & Gwandalan PS (Principal).

David presents on a variety of subjects including; Improving Literacy Achievement, Integrating Technology, Student Welfare Topics, Multiple Intelligences and Leadership.

He is very passionate about improving outcomes for students.

When he is not being a Principal he enjoys spending time with his family, politics and sport. He plays Touch Football and is a mad Central Coast Mariners, Manchester United and Manly Warringah League fan.

David is married to Sherelle and has two daughters Rachael and Jessica.

David enjoys the company of the family's two cats - Mango & Storm, and the latest addition Nyssa the Keeshond puppy.
