Who is ATA (NT)
Automotive Training Australia (NT) is the Automotive Advisory Group of
TEATAC (NT), established to provide a link between industry, government
and training providers, in relation to training matters.
ATA (NT) works on behalf of the Automotive industry in the Northern
Territory.
As an Industry Training Advisory Council we are brokers, working directly
with industry, enterprises and providers to implement training
arrangements that industry has identified as necessary through local
industry training needs.
We assist in the development and implementation of national training
packages and training programs and play a major local role in coordinating
formal endorsement of these programs and the new training package system.
ATA (NT) gives you the opportunity to provide advice to government and
training providers on training matters that can directly affect your
business and your industry.

Our Key functions are:-
To provide business with information regarding training issues that will
affect the automotive industry.
To provide advice on the implementation of traineeships and the New
Apprenticeship System for the automotive industry.
To provide a training liaison service between industry, training providers
and government
To work closely with industry helping them implement new training
initiatives that meets their training requirements.
