Lookout Joe consisted of:
  • Adrian Tisato, vocals and guitar
  • Chris Papps, guitars and mandolin
  • Peter Helman, drums and percussion
  • Trevor Bate, bass and guitar
Lookout Joe was formed around 1995 out of the original Orlando Allstars (with Frank Fragomeni on drums) and sadly finished in 2001. The name came from a Neil Young song.

Lookout Joe released CD in 1999 that topped the Adelaide local music charts for two weeks running (selling all of 30 copies each week to our loyal friends and relatives!) and then disappeared. If you want a copy, we still have heaps stored somewhere. The cover was based on the painting '1 Premio "Citta di Orvieto '63"' by Orlando Tisato, kindly used with permission.

The CD contained four tracks:
  1. Heat Haze, written by Trevor
  2. Modern Man, written by Adrian
  3. Rain, written by Chris
  4. Room for Me, written by Chris.
Highlights include the gigs at the 1998 and 2000 Adelaide Fringe and supporting Southern Culture on the Skids at the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel.

An earlier CD (with artwork by Chris) was recorded in 1998 but never released. It contained:
  1. Eat Money, written by Trevor
  2. What I meant was? by Chris
  3. Choosing Living by Trevor
  4. The Girl from Ballarat by Trevor
  5. Internet Romance Blues by Adrian
Some of our best material was written just before the band broke up, but was never recorded.
