In March 2005 we realised it was time to start getting our home renovation underway. So we went had a look at a few of the Project home builders and grabbed some ideas and cost’s. Our friend Sam father is an architect and so we asked him if he would be able to do our plans for us and we were more than happy with the results. We submitted the plans in June and they were finally approved in October. As the plans were approved later in the year than we expected we then waited until February to start our renovation. It has now started. We need to renovate the garage first so that we can move into it whilst the house gets pulled apart and put back together, we have a builder to do the house.
Site Supervisors Buster, Tori, Taylor It’s taken ages to get all the paper work and permissions in order to start work. Hope we can have it completed by Christmas! 7.01.07 Well it's now February and we are getting there... no promises but we hope to have it ready to move back into by April 2007. 7.10.07 We are in! Well we moved in about 8 weeks ago but we didn't finish the kitchen till last weekend so I've been a bit bust trying to get everything moved in... 14.03.08 Well we have well and truly settled in now and have had a couple of months off the relax. We hope to start on the final few things next weekend (like down pipes and finishing the bathrooms up stairs). Kyla is growing up lovely and loves running and riding her bike around the house. If we haven't caught up for a while please give me a call as I lost my mobile phone a few weeks ago along with all of my contact numbers. I still have the same number. I have now updated the house page with the almost finished product. |
