TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Bookings

To avoid confusion and disappointment, please book catering for your function as early as possible.
We do understand that at times it is not always possible to plan ahead and you may require last minute catering. In such circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate these orders.

Drop offs
Sandwiches/Cakes – 48 hours
Finger Food – 5 days
Functions
Half Day (MT, Lunch, AT) – 5 days
All Day Functions – 17 days
Multiple Day Conferences – 30 days

Payments

For bookings 7 days & over:
30% deposit is required with a booking
Final 70% is required 7 days before the function.

For bookings less than 7 days:
Full payment is required with a booking

Accounts are available for regular customers

Form of Payments

  • Cash
  • Direct Debits
  • Cheques – add 3 additional days to payment conditions to cover clearance
  • Credit Cards: Visa, Master Card, Bankcard – 1.4% surcharge will apply. We do not accept American Express and Diners Club

Cancellations

There is no refund given within our booking guidelines. If enough advance notice is given, refunds may be available outside these guidelines at our own discretion.

Finalisation of Menus & Numbers

Menus and numbers have to be finalised according to the guidelines below. Any decrease in numbers or quantity ordered outside the guidelines will still incur the original booking charge.

Finger Food – 48 hours
Functions
Half Day (MT, Lunch, AT) – 48 hours
All Day Functions – 5 days
Multiple Day Conferences – 7 days

Equipment and Accessories Return

Capers Catering’s equipment & accessories used for functions & drop offs have to be washed and returned within 48 hours, otherwise a charge will apply to cover recovery costs.

Provision of Quantities

It is the responsibility of organisers to ensure that there is adequate quantities of food at each function.
Capers Catering do not take any responsibility for food shortages.
Please refer to quantity indication and recommendation provided upon an order. If you are unsure, we suggest ordering 10% extra to avoid a possible shortage.

Discounts

Group discounts may apply to larger groups. Discounts may be offered in a form of a cash rebate or additional service at no extra charge. Details will be provided upon booking.

Capers Catering reserves the right to update prices at any time. Capers Catering reserves the right to substitute any ordered products or items due to produce unavailability.
