Page 2 of the Treffen report

South of Arkaroola the effects of the drought are obvious....this area would normally be covered in grass and wildflowers.

........The effect of the evening sun on the mountains was amazing!

This is the most northern aspect of the Flinders Ranges

.......and here the rocky outcrops dominate the scenery

This area would normally be filled with water.....to well over my head.

.........but once again because of the drought water levels in the whole of the Flinders Ranges are extremely low.

.......the final nights campfire.

The whole mob who attended Treffen Oz II

Thanks John and Fran for organising a magnificent event.

Unfortunately on the way home home Andre blew "another" tyre on the Terrano........after the event he ended up with odd tyres on all four wheels.

Once again Peter Krumhaar from Austria came out to Australia to attend the Treffen.

This time however prior to the event he purchased an ex Australian Army Haflinger which he drove on the Treffen.

After the event he shipped the vehicle back home to Austria to add to his already extensive Haflinger collection.
