This is the Les Pongrass skiing page, updated at least annually.
1998 we joined the Gunyah Ski Lodge at Perisher Valley, "just" a 6 hour drive from home. The ski season is short, really only July and August and skiing resembles spring skiing in Vermont on a bad year, if you can imagine that. We may build a Gunyah Ski Lodge home page, which one day will cover both day to day issues and its history.
So far, I have skied at Club Med Copper Mt. (Colorado USA) 1998 and 1999. Great company, good snow, vast slopes, with endless food and wine ... hard to take!
1999 and a return to Copper Mountain for late January skiing. What are they thinking? All day classes have been suspended without warning. Will now look at other destinations, perhaps ski France or Italy in 2000. Met Stewart and Richard in class, and skking certainly benefited by the good skiing company, but also suffered as the Burbon Whiskey hit the head at 11,000'.
Still in the planning stages
