Adam and girls moved in Mascot Street!

Adam's Story
December 22nd 2000 Adam's wife Belinda suddenly died from a mysterious illness that resembled al the symptoms of meningitis. However it turned out to be a clot of malformed veins in her brain that burst and flooded her brain.
Belinda died within 18 hours.
Mary and I were in Mackay Queensland visiting Lucy and her family with the intention of being there for Christmas and new year.
Belinda's parents had arrived in Thirlmere to visit their daughter and grandchildren for Christmas and instead ended burying their beloved Belinda.
What a tragedy!
Belinda's parents had recently moved to the Gold Coast to retire and where not capable to come to the rescue of Adam so we volunteered to do the job.
Adam was devastated, the youngest was still being breast fed and Belinda was several months pregnant.
Hannah was not yet five. and just wanted her mum.
We invited Adam to move in with us in Woy Woy until he could think straight and decide what to do with the future.
He made plans. He embarked on a new direction in life.
Adam always enjoyed scuba diving so he enrolled in a comprehensive Hospitality Industry course which had one major component of learning to be a dive master. The course is full time for nearly two years and we don't see much of him but psychologically his decision to do this course has paid of. I think he has come to terms with his grief and is facing the future
with optimism and his general attitude seems very healthy and well adjusted.
At home he is easy going and pleasant to get along with.
The girls are spoilt and pampered in the nicest way and we get compliments about their behavior from everyone not least from Hannah's school teacher.
Adam has also started dating, although he complains how difficult he finds the " looking for a partner scene".

WHERE DO WE LIVE?
Woy Woy is situated on the East Coast of Australia, 70 kms north of Sydney.
It is positioned between Sydney and city of Newcastle, and is a major regional city of the State of New South Wales. The Central Coast is easily accessed by major road and rail routes, and has a large installed infrastructure to support industry, manufacturing, commerce and residential services. As it is only one hour north of Sydney, it is an area popular for holidaymakers, retired people, young families and commuters.
