We are seeking new sponsors for 2009 and with your help you could make our local non-profit club, *the largest in the NT, the best it can be.  We have many members and loyal volunteers, but we need help from locals like you to make it happen. 

The Northern Territory Government has announced comprehensive plans to build four new suburbs (Bellamack, Johnston, Mitchell and Zuccoli) and new major infrastructure (GP Super Clinic, $48 million for 2 schools, $30 mil hotel, $5 mil Water Park and a $22 million International Standard Sports Facility) to meet Palmerston's fast growing population - by around 15,000.  Department of Planning and Infrastructure 1/10/08

With such major growth in Palmerston which was once labeled "Australia's fastest growing city", and with soccer being the world's greatest sport (and since 2003, Australia's), our club is continually increasing in numbers with fantastic potential.  That's why we claim Palmerston F.C. as the best in the Northern Territory!

23rd July '08:  Thank you to Bunnings Baggot Rd for donating a four burner BBQ to the club.  The BBQ matches the original BBQ we had and the donation also included a large gas bottle.  Special thanks must go to David and Mel Schultz from U6 Foxes for helping me acquire the donation.  3 cheers for Bunnings!

14th July '08:  Web update:  June visitors were up 60% more than the same month last year.  Cheers.

Web update:  May '08 was the biggest ever.  Page loads were up 24%, returning visitors up 49% and total visitors up 73%!

3rd May '08:  Web Update:  The site cracks the 10,000 visitor mark!  2005:474 (1/2 a year), 2006:2817, 2007: 4425, and 2008 to date is already over half the figure of 07 at 2284!  God I'm brilliant (I'm celebrating after the win today and had a few, sorry).  Thank you to all my local supporters, in the club, my teams, and to all that have been interested in soccer and checking out my site from all over the world.  Just today, I've had the UK, Mauritius, USA and get a lot from Brazil, Scotland, Africa, Timor, China, Argentina....blah blah.  You get the drift.  Thanks.

1st May '08:  Web update:  April '08 busted all the records to be the busiest month of all time.  Page Loads were up 18%, Returning Visitors up 43% and plain old Visitors were up a massive 62%!

13th April '08 posted the most visitors of all time in one day.  The record was broken 3 times in the week to top out at 25% more than last years record.  The week gone (week 15) also made all time records with returning visitors and unique visitors up a huge 52%!  March also posted records for the month.  Returning visits up 12% and total visitors up 31%.

1st Jan '08:  Website stats for 2007 blew the roof off for all time records.  Compared with the records set in 2006, 2007 Page Views were up 37%, Returning Visitors up 54%!! and Total Visits up 57%!!!

10th Dec:  Did you know?  Australia wide, Palmerston Soccer Club is over 2 and a 1/3 times bigger in player numbers than the national average! (435,728 players in 3868 clubs in Australia *FIFA stats).

*April 2007:  It's official, Palmerston La-Faek Soccer Club is now the BIGGEST soccer club in the NT (Australia)!  Out of 14 clubs in the Northern Zone (22 clubs in the NT), Palmerston is the biggest by team numbers.  With 26 teams, of which 24 are juniors/youth, it takes 7 of the smallest clubs (NZ) to equal our numbers.  2nd highest in numbers is still 5 teams short.

1st May '07:  Web update:  April has been the biggest month ever, with 226 returning visitors, up 35% (PR 167), 2423 page loads, up 57% (PR 1544), and 659 unique visitors, up a massive 76% over the old record of 374! All Previous Record were in April of 2006.

15th April '07:  Web update:  This week was the biggest ever, with 81 returning visitors (PR 60), unique visitors 184 (PR 121) and page loads a whopping 60% increase to 825 (PR 502).  *PR -Previous Record.
