The title refers to both the fury elephant monster thingo and the woman.
I submitted an earlier version of this pic to Epilogue. They rejected it, saying it needed some more detail. As far as I'm concerned finished art should be taken as the artist produces it, it's neither here nor there if the viewer would prefer smaller nipples or less heliotropes or somesuch... But in this instance I took their advice. I went back over it and added details to the spear head and tightened up some of the other detail.
They were right, more detail DID improve the image. Sometimes a reviewing process really is useful in this sort of art. After the changes it was accepted.
