The lady Cecelia proudly dressed in her shining gothic armour climbs high into the sky riding her feathered steed.
Originally drawn as a black and white image for use on a T-shirt, I decided to work further on this image and turn it into something different. I tried to give this water-colour painting an Art Nouveau feel; hence the blue circle bands, simple colour gradations, strong outlines, and the merged hair of the mane and tail.

The name of the knight, "lady Cecelia" was inspired by the name of one of the characters in Elizabeth Moon's 'Hunting Party'. Basically it's a SciFi story about fox hunting in space!
