My idea of a flapper, using Kim
Marie Vilimek as the face model. Women in the 1920's
tended to disguise the breasts and the hips though.
The fashion of the day seemed to be to try and appear
as boyish as possible!
This Art Deco inspired image was painted with Water-colour
paint and powdered Tempura on A3 sized water-colour
paper.
It's about as 20's and flapperish as that crap in the
movie Chicago. But it was an interesting little project
and the materials really worked beautifully.
