Kyle VALENTI

The only son of the town sheriff, Kyle Valenti seems to be living a charmed life. He's handsome, West Roswell High's star player in both the football and basketball team, drives a sporty red car, and is dating the prettiest and smartest girl in school. But that all changes on one afternoon in September, when a shooting at the Crashdown results in his girlfriend Liz Parker to turn her attention to the loner Max Evans. Kyle normally doesn't feel threatened, but Liz's interest in Max is all consuming. Suddenly, all his efforts are being met with cool responses.

So he does what any threatened male does...become stalker boy. Kyle is confused and angry at Liz's secretiveness, that only came about after the incident at the Crashdown. He tries to demand answers, and they break up. That may have been the end of it, if Kyle had not as strong feelings for Liz, but he kept a photo of them together under his bed. And concern for her safety made him chase the gang out to the Sultan's Hideaway Motel.

Kyle reveals his bitterness in getting drunk with Max Evans, as they bond over both being dumped by Liz. But he eventually settles for a tentative truce and friendship with Liz, as he realises how possessively crazy he was being.

It hasn't been an easy road for Kyle. His parents divorced when he was a child, and his relationship with his father is a bit strained due to Sheriff Valenti's obsession with aliens.
