There are many plant hormones and additives available for use by the homegrower. Many of these hormones and additives have a different function and act on different parts of the plant. There are hormones and additives to enhance root, leaf, stem, or flower growth and there are also general hormone and additives blends for all round growth enhancement. There are also hormones which may inhibit growth in desired areas eg, excessive stem growth. Some hormones and additives cannot be sent overseas.

ROOTING HORMONES

Rooting Hormones For fast strike rates and high success rate when planting cuttings, a rooting hormone is a must. Rooting hormones are available in powder form, liquid form (Rootex, Root Juice) and gel form (Clonex, Root Juice, Dutch Master Replicator and Clone Fast).

GROWTH HORMONES

Super Bloom is a plant hormone that effects the flowering of plants. Super Bloom induces some plants to flower in a matter of days, and can increase flower yields incredibly. Super Bloom, when sprayed on plants during there vegetative growth stages, will produce large levels of female hormones within the plants resulting in a larger number of females compared to males to form than normally would occur. Super Bloom has also been said make the flowers on some plants mature at the same time rather than over a longer period of time. Newer trials on Super Bloom have shown that even better results can be achieved by adding Super Bloom to your nutrients. 1ml per litre added once at first signs of flowering.

Bonzi is a growth regulator that will shorten stem growth dramatically, at the same time, inducing branching. The resulting plant will be only about 2/3 the height but with denser growth and higher yields. Bonzi is a foliar spray which is often used when growing tropical plant varieties under lights.

Root Zone Accelerant is a blend of root hormones which promote strong healthy root growth. By promoting root growth, the growth off the whole plant will usually benefit. Root Zone Accelerant is applied to plants by adding it to the solution and watering it in. It is also excellent for fast clone development.

SuperThrive is an award winning horticultural, multi vitamin, hormone mix designed for improving all aspects of plant growth. SuperThrive is ideal for use on cuttings and seedlings (to help resist stress), young plants (to improve root, stem and leaf development), flowering plants (to induce flowering and improve yields) and is extremely good in sick and stressed plants (relieves stress). SuperThrive is extremely concentrate and can be added to your nutrient at the rate of 1 drop per 4 litres for everyday use, and 2 drops per litre for reducing stress.

Organic Growth Promotant or “OGP” is an organic nutrient additive used for general, all round improvement in plant growth. OGP will improve root, stem, leaf and flower production in your plants.

Humic Acid is an organic liquid compost which can be used as a nutrient additive. Humic acid has been known to greatly improve plant growth, particularly leaf growth in lettuce.

Progibb Growth Regulator is a Gibberellic Acid in powder form. Progibb is often used to induce male flowers from female plants.

Mist-A-Grow and Mist-A-Bloom by Ozi Magic, are combination nutrient and hormone foliar spray for improved growth rates and yields. Mist-A-Grow is high in potassium nitrate and vitamins for improved vegetative growth. Mist-A-Bloom is high in potassium phosphates and vitamins for improved flower and fruit production.

“Gen X” Seed & Clone Accelerator by Ozi Magic, is a combination Propagation Tonic, Female Seed Soak and Clone Accelerator. Simply mix “Gen X” with water and use to moisten your propagation blocks. Can also be used as a foliar spray.

Nitrozyme is a plant growth regulator that stimulates cellular division, thickening plant structure and dynamically enhancing fruit bearing potential. Nitrozyme can be used as a foliar spray or a nutrient additive, and has been known to increase quality and quantity of the yield.

La Femme Sex Change Hormone is a Sex Change Plant Hormone. La Femme induces a predominance of female flowers. La Femme stops male flower production on hermaphrodites, and promotes females when grown from seed.

Seed Soak is a liquid hormone. Simply sprout your seeds in Seed Soak, then plant them out as usual. Seed Soak will increase the ratio of female to male plants. Some plant varieties have been known to produce up to 95% females after being sprouted in Seed Soak.

Sensa Spray is a hormonal stimulant from ESU which, when applied as a foliar spray, will incite plants to produce higher levels of female hormones, and will also stop vegetative growth and stimulate flowering in some plants and will also induce flowers to mature at the same time.

Nutriboost from Proud Earth, is a vitamin supplement and growth stimulant which encourages amazing results in plants grown in either hydroponics or soil. Nutriboost increases new root and shoot growth while increasing the size of your fruits and flowers, all at an accelerated rate. Simply add to your hydroponic nutrients for amazing results.

Formula 1 is a broad spectrum organic hormone mix which can be added to nutrient solutions or applied as a foliar spray throughout the entire crop cycle. Formula 1 aids in fast seed germination, fast rooting in cuttings, rapid vegetative and flower growth, promotes early bud set and more female plants, ripens flowers and fruits and helps improve potency and taste, as well as helping to prevent disease and improving plant health.

Microkill Rejuvenator is a NEW organic spray made from all natural plant materials and organic acids will help revive plants that have been damaged by root or air borne fungal attack.

"New" Cyco XL used in the early stages of growth (not recommended before week 3) of plants growth stage will help with the uptake of iron, nitrogen, potassium and increase root growth more rapidly.
