Guild Ranks

Overview

1. INITIATE - New Guild Members sit at this rank for one month, pending a Guardian/Council Review. Once the review has taken place, the Initiate is either booted or promoted to Veteran.
2. MEMBER - This rank is for social members e.g. those who would like to be in the guild, but raid with other people.
3. VETERAN- Normal Member rank, no responsibilities other than to keep guild raid times clear for guild raids....You don't HAVE to raid with us, but if you are caught raiding with another group while the rest of us are raiding, you will be warned once, then demoted to Member rank after a subsequent offence.
4. OFFICER - In charge of guild recruitment. If ANYONE in the guild wants to invite a friend, they must go through an officer. Officers MUST question the person wanting to bring their friend in, asking how long they have known the person, if the person could pose any trouble to the guild, what guild the person is in and why they want to leave. If the officer is unsatisfied, no invite is to be issued. If the officer is satisfied, he/she is to send a mail to Neoraven stating who the new recruit is, the join date and who their Guardian is.. OFFICERS MUST ENSURE NEW RECRUITS READ THE GUILD CONSTITUTION, ASSIGN A GUARDIAN AND CORRECTLY LABEL THE NEW RECRUIT.
5. RAVEN GUARD - Once a new recruit has been made an initiate, he is appointed a Guardian. This guardian is to keep an eye on the new recruit for a month, occasionally conversing with the new recruit and getting a feel for if the new recruit will fit in. The Guardian is then to submit a report one month from the new recruits induction to the High Council at the nearest guild meeting. If the Guardian is satisfied with the new recruit, the initiate will be promoted to Veteran. If there is no satisfaction, the recruit and all alts will be immediately removed from the guild.
6. INNER COUNCIL - First point of contact with a guild mates problem - please refer to the "Problem reporting within the Guild".
7. HIGH COUNCIL - Second point of contact with a guild mates problem - please refer to the "Problem reporting within the Guild". Also responsible for ENFORCING the guild constitution at all times. High council must also participate in a monthly guild member review, where all guild members are going to be reviewed for rank and guild membership.
