I've been a bit busy lately with a 3rd addition to my family in October 2003, hence 'zero' activity on my game development ! But, when things settle down and I get some spare time (as if thats gonna ever happen) I'll jump back into some coding. In the mean while I've been tinkering with my kids new Game Boy Advance games ... after getting bored with that I decided to downloaded a GBA development kit ... maybe I might have a crack at writting a GBA game (as if thats gonna happen either) !

I've started work on adding a SkyDome to my game. The SkyDome was originally written by Curtis Olson and is used in FlightGear. It has sun, moon, clouds, stars and planets.
I will definitely be placing TuxWaveracer & TuxBillyKart for download within the next few months, finished or not! :)

Started work on a jet-ski racing game (TuxWaveracer). I can't think of a better (or original) name to describe it than that at the moment. You can drive a jet-ski around a wavepool inside a stadium. Line up the wave properly a take a cool jump, miss it and eat the sandy bottom.

TuxBillyKart game is on hold at the moment. I'm having a few troubles with the ODE physics engine ... it doesn't keep the wheels attached to the BillyKart properly when turning at high speed ... I'll work it out soon.

Not much coding done lately on my 3d stuff ... I've been on holidays ... also I've recently been having fun (re)installing linux ... now that I have RedHat 8.0 installed I can get to work building plib, ode & my games on linux. So don't expect much from me in the next few months. :)

I've been a bit busy lately, but I do plan to continue development on the TuxBillyKart game. Currently I'm rewriting the C++ class structure of the game (it was a mess). I'll post the code as soon as it is working again ! :)

MarbleTower screensaver is completed and ready to download. Heck, I'm so surprised that I actually finished something ! :) Writing a screensaver was fun. Now I'll have to come up with another idea ! :) Its not perfect ... but heck what do you expect when I work on these projects in my spare time at about 2hrs a month. :(

13-May-2001
Wrote some code to convert a Terragen file (.ter) to an AC3D file (.ac). Also working on some code so I can take a walk around an island. At the moment the fps are a bit slow ... I'm looking into it !
