RMIT  Spotting Workshop Sponsored by DIA (Vic)
An Evening Workshop is to be held at:
RMIT School of Fashion and Textiles,    
25 Dawson Street, Brunswick, Victoria 3056
on Wednesday 27th February 2008 from 6.00 9:00 pm
This Workshop has been designed and developed for the following candidates in mind: Individuals working in the Dry Cleaning industry who currently perform spotting tasks and wish to broaden their knowledge and skills.  Course Content: 5.30pm   Light Refreshments   
 6 pm   Introduction Theory and practical instruction covered:   types of soil; stain classification; spotting agents; pH type; uses of spotting agents; spotting controls; cleaning and maintenance procedures; occupational health and safety issues

9 pm Close
Practical instruction will be tailored, as far as possible, to suit the current competencies of the participants.
Course Cost:  No cost to DIA Members
 
NOTE: As there are limited places you MUST request a place using the Workplace Expression of Interest form below by Wednesday 20th Feb.
