 What is it?
The GTK+ GalaxyNG Turn Planner is a tool to aid players in a GalaxyNG game. It parses XML turn reports and displays a graphical map, as well as providing access to report information and some tools to assist player decisions.

The current version is 0.9.9, released on May 22, 2002.

 What's GalaxyNG?
GalaxyNG is an email based strategy game. You are in a square galaxy, along with several other races, occupying a few planets. The goal is to destroy the other races and become leader of the galaxy, by occupying new planets, producing ships, waging war, and diplomatic negotiations. See the GalaxyNG web site for more details.

 Credits
During its lifetime, the turn viewer has seen quite a few revisions and one major overhaul. The project was started by myself, Byron Ellacott, but it wasn't long before Anthony Towns, Andrae Muys and Bruce Campbell started contributing new code and fixes. Currently, I am still doing most of the code, but the changes supplied by the other contributors are still in use, and Andrae Muys is developing a new ship designer.

If you have any suggestions or bugs to report, please email me at bje@apnic.net.
