About this site We have been collecting Carlton Ware for a number of years now, and for most of that time I have been threatening to create a Carlton Ware site with all the pictures I have collected. The purpose of the site is really just some fun for me and the hope that it provides some level of reference for budding Carlton collectors. The site is limited to the Lustre and Handcraft range up to the late 40's, because that's what we collect. Source of Information None of the images here have been scanned from any publications. They are photos of items for sale on the net, photos of our collection, or photos that people have kindly sent us. I have used David Serpell's book and the Carlton Ware Collectors International magazines for information on the numbers that I didn't have. The Devil on the left came from one of our pieces. I also used Dr Czes & Yvonne Kosniowski's site www. cartlonware. com to help identify unusual patterns.
