Work Life

This page will contain bits and pieces on projects related to our home (the place in the background picture). Primarily to do with the work and effort that goes into a place even though you buy it as a fully finished and landscaped house and land package.

Now that Shona and I are both in the same address and working away at our various projects around the house, we have thoughts of living in a motor home and looking over gardens and scenery that we do not have to water, prune or maintain in any way. If we get to not liking the scenery, we could just unplug the power and move around the corner, up the road, to the next suburb or town, or wherever!

As the price of a motor home that you could live in permanently is the same sort of price as a house, we'll keep that thought for now and finish off our projects!

Take one "landscaped" garden that has grass in the middle and a strip garden around the border and dig it all up to add a pond, waterfall, rocks and (later) paving.
