started in 1977as a family business with Marcia Whittaker &
Jo-Ellen Thorpe (Mother & Daughter). Originally in two premises - Yagoona (Marcia's) & Guildford (Jo's), we moved to Silverdale in 1982. The
business stayed a partnership until Marcia retired to Bribie Island in
1994.
Jo-Ellen
kept the business as sole owner until 2006 when she has made it a
partnership with her own daughter Tina.
Silk screen printing
is an intricate process and it is mostly done by hand.We have a machine that prints 100 ribbons every 15 minutes. The
newest addition to our business is a pleating machine purchased last
year,
for the making of the rosettes. We imported this machine in from overseas. |
