Since 1982 I have been the assistant editor of Australian Literary Studies. Between 1970 and 1981 I was the editor of the magazine Makar and Makar Press a publisher of contemporary Australian poetry. I was the editor of The University of Queensland Press' poetry series between 1983 and 1988.






I have three children: Philippa, a Robert Jordan fan, Cassandra, a romance reader and trader, and Alexander. Please feel free to consult their pages.
