He was married to Catherine BUCKLEY (daughter of Jerimiah
BUCKLEY and Ellen
BUTLER) on 10 Oct 1826 in Donoughmore, Co Cork, Ireland.
Catherine BUCKLEY was
born in 1809 in Donoughmore, Co Cork, Ireland. She was
christened on 23 Feb
1809 in Donoughmore, Co Cork, Ireland.

Ireland. She

Ireland. He
came to Victoria, Australia and married Mary Hartnett, Then
married Catherine
Fleming. John died Tinamba, Victoria, Australia in 1887

Australia. She died on 20 Oct 1859 in

ii. Mary MCCARTHY was born on 5 Aug 1860 in Sandhurst, Victoria,
Australia. She died on 5 Mar 1861 in Sandhurst, Victoria,
Australia.
John MCCARTHY and Catherine FLEMING had the
following child.
iii. John James MCCARTHY he was born 1862 Back Creek,
Victoria,Australia. John
married
Fanny Ford 1887 in Sale, Victoria,
Australia.

Patrick MCCARTHY was born 1834 Duinch, Banteer, Co Cork,
Ireland.
Patrick stayed in Banteer and married Mary Coleman.
4. Daniel MCCARTHY was born 1836 Duinch, Banteer, Co Cork,
Ireland. Daniel
married Ellen Guess in 1862 and came to Victoria, Australia. He
died 1910 in
Sale, Victoria, Australia.
