Kustoms Of Australia and John’s Rod & Custom would like to extend an invitation to all car enthusiasts to participate in the Annual San Remo Rod Run, which will be held at the San Remo foreshore opposite the Phillip Island bridge from 10.00 am till 4.00 pm on Sunday February 10th 2008. This is a single day event, and as mentioned above the location is the picturesque seaside resort of San Remo. This is a non profit charity event held in honour of all past car enthusiasts, and entry is by donation. Participants are encouraged to bring along photos and/or some mementos in memory of lost loved ones from the rodding community, to share with their friends. There will be exclusive parking at the foreshore car park for entrants. Hot Rods, Kustoms, Classics, Mini trucks, Vintage vehicles, Muscle cars, Lifestyle Trade Stands, and Rockabilly Rumble. Live performance will begin at 11.15 am featuring Shakin' Paulie & the '56 Jam Cans till 1.05 pm and Wild Turkey from 1.25 pm till 3.15 pm.Setting up Trade stands on the day will be John's Rod & Custom, Johnny Z's, Atom Bomb Baby, and Jaimie Suppa. Those that wish to cruise from Cranbourne can meet at the car park near Bunnings on the South Gippsland Hwy (near Thompsons Rd.), and join the cruise to San Remo departing at 10.00 am.
