| The ‘Hot Rod Rumble’ takes place on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday. We will have use of the whole complex, so there’s plenty of room for parking as well as playing. Cruisin’ the Thunderdome, extensive array of lifestyle & rod related traders, swap meet area, Rockabilly festival, Hot Rods, Kustoms, Musclecars, and as there will be a 1974 model cut off for full entrants, exclusive areas will be allocated for later year car clubs where they can stage their own show n’ shine. Any clubs interested in joining us at Easter, get in touch as soon as possible. The good news is the main focus of the ‘Hot Rod Rumble’, which is to bring out all those old drag cars that haven’t seen the light of day for years, as they will be able to run at this event. We have already chased up a few front engine rails for exhibition runs, while a number of guys that heard about the event are even now planning to build new/old style slingshots. We’d love to see some altereds and funny cars make some passes, so if you have one hidin’ out the back ya better drag it out. There’ll also be heads up hot rod races over the weekend, again with the ’74 model cut off. This event is organised by Chopper and the Kustoms of Australia krew, so ya just know it’s gonna be fun. With so much going on you’ll just have to keep on choosing over the weekend which part of the action you’ll be watching or participating in. Hey… guys & gals, life’s too short.
