Phil booked in to use the house as a base for some mountain biking:

I did the ride up Kennet River Rd (not for the faint hearted),
along Mt Sabine Rd and then down to ?Gray River Rd.....great forest. I actually thought Kennett River was an ideal spot because the forest was cool in the southerly weather. I enjoyed it a lot and so did the dog.

We all had a fantastic weekend! Koala Cottage is truly in a gorgeous location. Both my husband and the husband of the birthday girl, were very impressed with the fact that it is located just above Sawmills - one of their favourite surf breaks!! The surprise went off without a hitch, all of us enjoyed ourselves thoroughly so much so that we're planning more weekends in the future so I'll be in touch again soon.

Koala Cottage provided everything we needed for a relaxing weekend and what a great location. The kids enjoyed feeding the birds - and got to know the one pair of king parrots quite well.

We appreciated your ‘flat rate’ per night- we are usually penalised for having 3 children by the additional per head charge. We will no doubt be recommending Koala Cottage to other families.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your cottage.

We had such a great time there. It was also a big surprise for my [German] grandmother who didn't know that I had already booked the place.

The place was so cosy and the wild life was phenomenal: We saw many koalas, rosellas, lorikeets, cockatoos and one echidna, one possum and one wallaby.

Leaving was very hard for us. I hope you were satisfied how we left the apartment. I surely will recommend and praise your cottage to anyone who is planning to travel to the Great Ocean Road.

The scenery and wildlife was just fantastic seeing diferent types of birds and koala's that close was amazing.
The cottage itself was great with spectacular views.

My husband and I travelled from England to Melbourne for a five week holiday to visit our son and daughter-in-law, we had a fabulous five weeks and travelled all over Victoria, but the best time for me was spending three days at Koala Cottage it was a very comfortable place to stay and the wildlife made it perfect, I had great enjoyment in seeing the birds and koala's so close to the cottage. Thank-you so much for a fantastic weekend. We loved the house and the location, and we saw six koalas, including a mother and baby. Our only compalaint was that the weekend went too quickly. It was quite wet on Friday night, but was great after that. We are used to existing on tank water, so we used as little as possible. We have already told some friends about it and will be looking to stay early next year.

We have had an absolutely amazing week at Koala Cottage. We swam every day, cooked great food and had a really good chance to just relax! The kitchen was really well equipped too. We did some great rainforest walks and saw some beautiful waterfalls. Ollie was impressed with the crabs and starfish in the rockpools and very much enjoyed the DVD (we don't have a TV at home). Thank you for providing such a wonderful holiday venue - we will be back.
