I am trying to cater towards the family and personal web pages only and to help those that do not have the time to learn or do not have the inclination to do a web page themselves.
I am no longer really interested in "complex" pages, especially business ones, and prefer to just stick to personal sites of one or two pages. I simply do not have the time for pages needing on-going maintenance. Also have done business pages in the past and frankly they are more trouble than they are worth especially when I was charging approx. a fifth of what a professional would and still having businesses still trying to 'squeeze' my prices down or expecting far too much for my fee despite my being upfront stating that I only do "basic" pages. Always open to any honest up-front offers though!
I have had a couple of questions as to why my page is not really that 'business like'. This page is not of any corporate design as I do not want to give an 'expensive' feel when that is not the business (rather hobby!) I wish to get involved with. Not much use having a corporate site when all I am trying to attract is personal pages - hope that makes sense.
My prices are very reasonable and I offer some assistance / training so you can maintain your finished page(s) yourself. The truth is I am self taught and you could do a page with a little study but at the same time there are those that would like a web page but computers just are not your best subject - thats where I want to help and at a very competitive price given the many hours that can be involved. You will be involved in the whole process - it is your web site, your content and basic design, I just code it for you.
I prefer to (but not restricted to) deal with people relatively close to Sydney Australia and it's outer suburbs as it is much easier (though not impossible if not from Sydney area) for us to get together for the process for obvious reasons - it is your site and you have to be happy and at the same time I prefer to get it right with a minimum of fuss given my rates / charges.
My basic price is only $50.00 Australian for 1 to 2 A4 size pages (approximately - flexible within reason)!
I believe that is affordable.
NOT $50.00 plus an hour - $50.00 Flat rate!!!!
(Not bad given that you could spend up to 20 hours or more on a personal site)
Only condition is that I be allowed to place a small advertising link back to this page. Similar to the logo below. Any reasonable objection would be considered of course.
