Project: Car sales

Today, the CEO of Hornby Car Enterprises has announced the establishment of a project team with the objective of increasing our market share; this will coincide with the launch of our new model.
The model appears to be an exact duplicate of the new 307 Peugeot, this is purely coincidental.
The project scope is to establish which planning model to adapt, please review the attached spreadsheets detailing the three options the project team will be considering; terminating in week 6 of this 2nd current period.

Each of the functional divisions is requested to fully co operate with the team.
Today, with multiplicity of buyer demographics and the enormous volume of vehicles, it's far more complicated to meet our projected sales figures.

Do we remain static, increase advertising or cut prices and buy the business.
Car marketing strategy today involves an elaborate mix of age groups and psychographics. From the Generation Y (post 1976), the generation x in the twenties, the baby boomers 38-55 thru to the empty nester.

Hornby believes we have the right marketing mix to target the Generation Xer

standard equipment.

Its sleek stylish lines clearly marking it out as a Peugeot, disguise the fact that it is actually our new model.

 

The model was voted European car of the year 2002.
