Nazneen Sufia Abedin is my wife. She did her SSC from Bina Pani High School of Gopalgong and  HSC from Saroda Sundhury Mohila College, Faridpur. She completed her masters in History from the University of Dhaka in 1984. She was a resident of Rokeya Hall. Nazneen Worked in BRAC & ICDDR,B and currently employed with Coles Myer in  Australia.

Omio Abedin (Shiss) is my eldest son. He is in 3rd year at Sydney University,  studying Aeronautical Engineering and Science. He was a student of Summer Hill, Canterbury and Blacktown South Public School. He completed his HSC from Patrician Brothers College where he was a student from 1995 to 2002.  Cricket is Omio’s favourite sports. He represented his school in cricket when he was in Patrician Brothers College.   

Adity Abedin (Hridy) is my only daughter.  She is in Sydney Girls High School in year-11.  She will be sitting for HSC in the year 2006.  She studied in Blacktown South Public School before going to Sydney Girls. Hridy plays Net Ball and Basket Ball in her school team. In her leisure time she loves to listen music. Guy Sebastian is her favorite singer.

Ornob Abedin (Pantho) is the youngest member in our family. He is in year-7 at Crestwood High School. He studied in Blacktown South and Mathew Pearce Public School before going to Crestwood. He loves sports; Cricket and Soccer are his favourite games. Pretty busy with many others sports and athletic activities. He represents his school in Soccer and Cricket. Australia is his favorite team. Ricky Pointing is Pantho's favorite player.

I did my SSC from Khaled Haider Memorial Institute. This is a school in Ulon a nearest suburb of Rampura TV Centre. Was a student of Titumir College. If you were associated with this college during 1973-1974 there is a chance that we may know each other

Golden time of my life was from 1974 to 1980. If you were a student of Dhaka University during that time and loved TSC or the sports than the boaring class room activity, we definitely know each other. I was a student of Management in commerce faculty and was attached to Salimullah Hall.

I joined Project Implementation Bureau (PIB) of Ministry of Planning in 1981 as a computer programmer.   Moved to ICDDR,B in 1983 where I worked up until 1990. Did some consultancy job in Kenya and Pakistan before migrating to Australia in September 1990.  Summer Hill a nice little suburb in inner west was our first place to live in Australia. Currently, we are living in Bella Vista a suburb of Baulkham Hill Shire Council in Sydney, Australia.
