Ever since I can remember, I've been a reader. I think I got it from both sides of the family, although Mum was
the fiction reader while I was growing up. I've also been a daydreamer for a very long time (much to the dismay of
my teachers, not to mention Mum and Dad when the report cards came in). I love stories, and I love telling them. I
think that's one of the reasons I dig roleplaying games so much.
This section of the IMAGinES site is where I give my creative impulses some free rein. It can be hard work at
times. Recently (during 2001) I set myself a challenge where I'd write at least a thousand words per day. Heh! Nice
try, cully.
The Fiction sub-site is my attempt to turn that around. I want to post something new here at least once every week,
whether it be a new chapter in one of my ongoing series or a new, stand-alone short story. You can expect a lot of
science riction - or, more properly, science fantasy. I prefer adventure over adherence to scientific principle,
not that the two are incompatible. Still, I want to try and break my mould, with works like After... and
others that I'll discover as I write them.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy - and if you have comment or constructive criticism to offer, please don't
hesitate to e-mail.
