The executive members met with Mr Kanwal Rekhi at the Tiecon Seminar. Mr Rekhi was glad an association had been formed and shared some valuable insight of how he and others helped develop the IITian brand in the US. He suggested from his experience that the initial years were a bit rough but perseverance from IITians in the US had paid great dividends and is a brand to be sought after. He also added an ALL-IIT approach was the best solution and not an individualistic IIT approach.
