About IIT- Overview

IITians Association of Australia (IITAA) was started by Mr. Davender Jain and Dr Yash Pal Bhasin with the first general body meeting on 14th September 2003 in Sydney. Mr. Vinay Singh, Mr. Amish Patel, Mr. Amit Gossain, Mr. Sami Gounder and Mr. Sriram Gopalan were the other executive committee members who put their valuable support in giving shape to the dream of the founders.

During the 3rd Annual General Meeting held on 11th Dec 2005, a new executive committee was elected by IITAA Members. The current executive members Mr. Davender Jain (President), Mr. Vinay Singh (Vice-President), Vivek Sheel (Treasurer), Sushil Chaddha (Secretary), and Sunil Raheja (Committee Member) are working towards raising the profile of IITians and Indians in Australia
