Family: Epacridaceae

This erect, bushy shrub, to 2m high, produces a magnificent display when flowering in Spring. It is found on sandstone in heath or sheltered understories in woodland, and is flowering in profusion in some of the higher rocky ridge areas of the park.

The flowers are light pink, with yellow hairy lobes curled back. The 5 stamens project prominently beyond the tube when the flower is fully open.

The leaves are up to 25mm long, broad, flat, tapering to a sharp point.
