Spiny Bossiaea 

Family: Fabaceae

The Spiny Bossiaea is a twiggy, stiff shrub 50cm-1.5m high, growing in woodland on sandstone or shale.

Its distinguishing feature is its leaves - alternate, heart-shaped, 2-6mm long. The branchlets are spiney.

The flowers are yellow with deep red keel. They are borne in the leaf axils. Normal flowering time is August - October.
