Acacia linifolia

Flax-leafed wattle

Family: Mimosaceae

This wattle is a graceful shrub up to 2m, with soft, fine foliage along slightly weeping branches. The flower heads are cream, forming dense clusters at the ends of branches. Flowering time is normally from December to April. However, it often has a second flowering season in Winter.

It grows abundantly on disturbed ground, and in the park it can be often seen along the roadsides.
