Acacia floribunda

White Sallow Wattle, Marrai-uo 

Family: Mimosaceae

This is a large bushy shrub or small tree, usually 2-4 m high but slender and up to 15 m in more shaded areas. It is common along river and creek banks in the Sydney area.

The crowded phyllodes are long, narrow and straight or slightly curved, with one central vein and numerous fine branching veins.

The flowers are pale yellow and cylindrical. Flowering time is July - November.
