Family Stylidiaceae

Stylidium productum

Similar to Stylidium lineare, but larger in all aspects. The most characteristic feature of this plant is the fact that the leaves are spaced on a short stem, and not in a basal tuft. The leaves are shiny above.

Flowering: Late spring and summer

Habitat: Sandy soils, usually in slightly sheltered positions.

Distribution: From coast to mountains, endemic in the Sydney area.
