Family Lobeliaceae Pratia purpurascens White root
A small green leafy herb that rarely grows up to more than 15cm. The leaves are dark green, purplish on the underside, and finely toothed around the margins. The flowers are borne singly on slender stalks. They are white to light purple. Habitat: damp places in sheltered forests Flowering: Summer and autumn Distribution: Widespread from coast to mountains.
