Hibbertia bracteata

A low, quite leafy shrub, with very conspicuous reddish hairy sepals when coming into flower. This is the main diagnostic feature of the shrub.

Flowering: late winter and spring

Habitat: Scrubland and open forest, on sandy soils.

Distribution: Endemic in the Sydney district
