What a great year I have had.

I am working part-time, volunteering at school and church, and trying to find time to do some craft. Housework....what's that?

I have really enjoyed playing in a ladies local tennis competition, something I had planned to do when my kids were at school, so I am happy to report I actually accomplished that goal. I also joined our local Fitness First gym and enjoy Pilates classes and Bodyjam (dance).

I think my project management experience help me keep track of the family commitments, and juggle lots of roles. However, I do look forward to happy hour at 5pm most days.

Our 5pm church service has grown well this year. I still play guitar and often lead an animated kids song (much to my own children's horror). I am very happy that our family are part of the St George Christian school, and love to see my children grow in their love of others and God.

I really enjoyed our holidays this year. We were very fortunate to be able to go on 3 great trips. A family holiday to Hawaii, a romantic 17th wedding anniversary trip to Central Australia and our special holiday to Singapore and Camodia.

I have recently organized a ladies Jewellery  making event at church. We did beading and had a great time. Beware if you try it...it is addictive. Guess what everyone's getting for Christmas? :-)  Caroline loves it too and made me a nice blue necklace last week.

I am also really happy with the new bathrooms we have. I now know way more about plumbing than I ever thought possible.

Having Shane working from home is great for the family. He and I still have our regular "lunch dates".
