Drumassault is a Canberra-based group that performs the traditional rhythms of West Africa.  Performances overflow with energy and the infectious sounds of the djembe and dundun drums.

With experience built from playing all over Canberra for the past five years, Drumassault can adapt their show to suit any event or venue, from corporate functions, night clubs, music festivals, and opening ceremonies through to community events, school shows, private parties or even weddings with an exciting difference.

Drumassault is often invited to play at large events such as the Multicultural Festival and Floriade and for special occasions at the National Gallery, Australian National Botanical Gardens and the National Museum.

Drumassault is proud to have performed with visiting artists from West Africa such as Wala from Ghana and Bajalay Suso from the Gambia.  Master drummer Mohamed Bangoura from Guinea (pictured right) has also performed with the group here in Canberra.

Drumassault was awarded Runner Up Walk By Act in the 2007 Quest for the Nation's Best Buskers.
