DOGE = Dogs of Glen Eira

Protecting the rights of dog owners in Glen Eira and promoting responsible dog ownership

It's been 11 years since Council set in place their doggy rules - since then the dog population has almost doubled and viable leash-free space has been lost to redevelopment. DOGE feels a review of open space and dog by-laws is long overdue.

Yet this is the sort of response we get from individuals within Council.

"There is still legal space in Bentleigh-Hodgson Reserve, it may only suit a chihuahua, but it's there. "
